On Sunday, September 11th Martin will be joined by some of the best and brightest folk musicians around at the inaugural Peace in the Park festival, at the Heritage Amphitheater in Edmonton. I know that many, many of you have been asking, “When is Martin going to release an album with Hallelujah on it?”.  Well, to make you happy, I’ve been working on an album of acoustic covers, and the first pressing finally arrived on my doorstep today.  Click here to see what it looks like.

It features, of course,  Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen and 10 other favourites  such as Into the Mystic (Van Morrison), Blackbird (The Beatles) and Fast Car (Tracy Chapman).  It’s intended to recreate the sound and feel of a concert with me in your own living room.

This CD won’t be available in stores or online. If you’re in Edmonton, you can come to one of my 3 free shows this weekend to get your signed copy.
